Who is responsible for the information?

The controller is Samad Salam trading as Doctor Tax Check, operating the Doctor Tax Check validation project.

What we collect

• Your answers about professional profile, pay arrangements, tax region, areas of interest, prior claims and price interest.
• Your understanding of what the early-access page provides.
• A broad source label, such as personal WhatsApp, group WhatsApp or LinkedIn, when you use a labelled research link.
• Your email address, consent record, verification status, reconfirmation response and unsubscribe status only if you choose the separate email option.
• If you use the general enquiry form: your name, email address, enquiry category, message and the version of the privacy notice you acknowledged. We also retain the public offer version shown when the enquiry was sent.

Neither public form asks for P60 figures, income, receipts, tax documents, National Insurance numbers, tax references, employer names, Government Gateway details or health information. Please do not add those details. If sensitive information is submitted unintentionally, we will remove it when identified where it is not needed to handle the request.

Why we use it

We use research responses under our legitimate interests to test whether the proposed service is understandable and worth developing. We use your email only with your consent, to verify the address and send the one-off interest follow-up and product or launch updates described beside the form.

We use general-enquiry details under our legitimate interests to read and respond to the question. Where you ask us to take steps before potentially purchasing a service, we may also process the details to take those steps at your request. Acknowledging the privacy notice is not consent to marketing, and an enquiry address is not added to product updates unless you separately opt in through the research form.

We keep aggregate click counts by date and broad source to measure the research funnel. We do not use advertising pixels, session replay, fingerprinting or cross-site tracking.

Who processes it

The page and form are hosted through ChatGPT Sites, with Cloudflare infrastructure used for delivery and database storage. Those providers may process limited technical request and security data under their own infrastructure controls. We do not add IP addresses, user agents or full referrer URLs to the research response database.

During the controlled soft launch, confirmation and follow-up messages are prepared from the owner-only research dashboard and sent manually from the project contact address. IONOS hosts the branded project mailbox and may process sender and recipient details and message content when an email is sent or received. If the email arrangement changes, this notice will be updated before the new provider is used.

Retention

Research responses are kept for up to 12 months after collection. Email and consent records are kept until you withdraw consent, or until six months after the validation and launch decision, whichever comes first. A minimal suppression record may be kept to make sure an unsubscribe request is respected.

General-enquiry submissions are assigned an expiry date 12 months after receipt. Expired records are removed when the enquiry store is next accessed, unless limited information is needed longer to resolve an active request, meet a legal obligation, or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Your choices and rights

You can submit the early-access research form without giving a name or email. The separate general-enquiry form needs a name and email so we can respond. You can withdraw launch-email consent at any time through the unsubscribe link in each message or by contacting us. You may also ask for access, correction or deletion, or object to use based on legitimate interests.

You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

No personal tax decision

The early-access page does not make an automated decision about you, determine eligibility or produce a personal tax estimate.
